A closer look at the prize money on offer at the BWF World Tour Finals 2025

In the first-ever edition of the BWF World Tour Finals, China’s Shi Yuqi and India’s P.V. Sindhu emerged as the men’s and women’s singles champions, respectively.
As stated on the tournament’s official website, the BWF World Tour Finals 2025 features a substantial prize purse of USD 3 million (approximately MYR 12.3 million). This total is USD 500,000 higher than last year’s amount and stands as the richest prize pool across all badminton events worldwide.
From this fund, the champions in both the men’s and women’s singles categories will earn USD 240,000 along with 14,000 BWF ranking points. At the same time, the title-winning pairs in men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles will receive USD 252,000 and 14,000 BWF points.
