Held in late November, this year’s tournament set new benchmarks, with competitors arriving from every continent, including new and exciting entries from Brazil, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico.
The MT700 Pattaya Tournament 2025, widely recognised as one of Asia’s most prestigious tennis competitions, wrapped up on a record high, attracting nearly 250 players from more than 40 nations.
The atmosphere was further lifted by the strong backing of Supersports, K-Swiss, Carabao, and Vitala, whose support greatly enhanced the overall experience. Participants were particularly pleased with the impressive gifts and facilities made available by the sponsors.

Among the standout moments was the Men’s Singles 40+ encounter between Vitanart Vathanakul, CEO of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group, and Kotaro Noguchi of Japan. The pair engaged in an epic six-hour contest that highlighted remarkable endurance and skill. Even as both players battled cramps, they continued to trade points in a gripping duel that kept spectators on edge. The contest stayed tightly balanced before Vitanart finally clinched victory in a thrilling finish.
Another crowd-pleaser was the Women’s Singles 45+ match featuring Thailand’s Miss Sivika Sirisanthana against Brazil’s Thania Melhem, who was making her debut. Long rallies and fiercely contested points marked the encounter, keeping fans absorbed right to the final ball. It was widely regarded as one of the most passionate matches of the event.
Off the court, players and their families were treated to a range of special activities and benefits, including a complimentary pool party hosted by Royal Cliff’s CEO. The event also offered welcome souvenirs from Supersports and K-Swiss, signature beverages from Carabao, and professional recovery and physiotherapy services provided by Vitala. Supersports also supported athletes with on-site racquet stringing throughout the tournament.
