Gabe Tardio on the Move: Facolos Global Team Signs Biggest Name Yet – Pickleball News Asia
Facolos Pickleball’s growing Global Team has a new member: Gabe Tardio. The upstart pickleball brand
The upstart pickleball brand from Vietnam welcomed Tardio to its Global Team on Tuesday with a post on Instagram, where Facolos described the partnership as “The New Era”.
“Congratulations on a new journey—a journey of partnership, ambition, and breakthrough.
Facolos is proud to officially welcome Gabriel Tardio, one of the world’s most exciting young talents, to the Facolos Global Team,” Facolos wrote in the caption. “This is more than a signing. It’s a game-changing move—igniting a new era for pickleball in Asia on the global stage.”
“Welcome to the team @gabe_tardio. Let’s make history together,” the Instagram post concluded.
There’s no doubt that the signing of Gabe Tardio is, so far, Facolos Pickleball’s biggest, splashiest move. That’s because Tardio is arguably one of pickleball’s best young talents and is already a certified star.
Tardio, as of this writing, is ranked No. 15 by the PPA Tour in Men’s Singles, No. 2 in Men’s Doubles, and No. 6 in Mixed Doubles. He has already won 72 medals in total, with 47 being of the golden variety. He also has 14 silver and 11 bronze medals.
What’s more, the Bolivian sensation is only 20 years old, which means he’s going to get a lot better moving forward. And it looks like Facolos Pickleball will be there with him for the ride.
