The Skechers International Pickleball Tournament 2025 concluded its inaugural edition in Ho Chi Minh City, drawing nearly 200 players and signaling the continued rise of pickleball in Vietnam.
The inaugural Skechers International Pickleball Tournament 2025 officially came to a close over the weekend, with Championship Saturday wrapping up a high-level competition held at the MSC Sport Complex in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The first edition of the tournament featured two divisions — Men’s Doubles 5.5 and Mixed Doubles 5.5 — and drew close to 200 players, according to the organizing committee. Despite the limited number of categories, the strong turnout highlighted pickleball’s growing popularity and rapid development in Vietnam.
Held under the theme “Comfort That Performs,” the event was jointly organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Tennis and Pickleball Federation, Skechers, and Nexus Sport Events.

In the Men’s Doubles division, Đức Cường and Thành Nhân captured the title with a victory over Tiến Dũng and Trung in the final. Ngọc Hải and Thuận Phát secured third place after defeating Thiện Thành and Anh Tuấn in the bronze-medal match.
The Mixed Doubles championship was claimed by Hữu Duy and Hoàng Oanh, who overcame Ngọc Ngà and Heidi Giang in the final. Mỹ Hạnh and Khánh Quý completed the podium in third place, while Kim Tuyến and Hoàng Anh finished fourth.
Organizers have confirmed that the Skechers International Pickleball Tournament is expected to become an annual event, with plans to introduce additional categories and playing levels in future editions.
