KUALA LUMPUR: World No. 9 Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani completed a historic treble for Malaysia after clinching the men's doubles title at the Indonesia Masters on Sunday — the first time the national shuttlers have won three titles at a single Super 500 tournament or above on the World Tour.

Revenge proved sweet for Sze Fei-Izzuddin as they defeated Indonesia's Raymond Indra-Nikolaus Joaquin 21-19, 21-13, silencing the thunderous Istora Senayan crowd while avenging their defeat to the same pair at the Australian Open three months ago.

Earlier, Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah and Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei had secured the women's doubles and mixed doubles titles respectively, setting the stage for a memorable Malaysian triple sweep.

The victory also ensured Malaysia retained the men's doubles crown, following Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun's triumph last year, and marked Sze Fei-Izzuddin's ninth career World Tour title.
