Pro Honda LCR rider Diogo Moreira completed a positive and productive second and final day of testing at the Buriram Circuit, finishing 19th overall on the combined timesheets with a best lap of 1'29.920.
The Brazilian made a strong start to the morning session, setting a competitive time that placed him just one second off the top of the standings. The lap underlined both his speed and growing confidence with the bike as preparations continue for the 2026 campaign.
“I’m really happy with how the test went. We’ve made significant progress since yesterday and are almost ready to kick off the season. There’s still work to be done, but we’re much closer now,” Moreira said.
The two-day test proved constructive for both rider and team. Beyond outright pace, the focus was on consistency and long-run performance, with the crew completing a full race simulation. Feedback from the afternoon session pointed to clear improvements, reinforcing the sense of progress within the garage.
“The team and I have done a great job together, and I want to thank them for their support. They give me a lot of confidence, and we have great communication,” he added.
Moreira completed a total of 148 laps across the test, gathering valuable data ahead of the opening round. With the Buriram test now concluded, the Pro Honda LCR team shifts its attention to the first Grand Prix of the 2026 season, set to take place next week at the same venue in Thailand.
While encouraged by the gains made, Moreira acknowledged there is still room to improve.
“In terms of pace, we still have room to improve, and I’m excited to get started at the Grand Prix next week,” he said.
