The game is leveling up for senior athletes in Malaysia as the Over Fifties Elite Club (OFEC) officially launches the Masters Series 2026, a year-long initiative set to raise the bar for competitive pickleball among elite players aged 50 and above. Designed to reward experience, consistency, and high-level performance, the series introduces a structured, high-stakes circuit that gives seasoned competitors a clear pathway to compete throughout the year.
The Masters Series 2026 is built as a dedicated tournament circuit exclusively for over-50 elite players, offering a professional environment where results across multiple events truly matter. Running across the entire calendar year, the series will culminate in a Grand Finale in December 2026, bringing together the top performers from the season for one final showdown.
Each month, OFEC will stage two Masters Series tournaments, one in Men’s Doubles 50+ and another in Mixed Doubles 50+, giving players regular opportunities to compete, earn ranking points, and measure themselves against the best in their category. Participants can choose to enter as many or as few tournaments as they like, with points awarded for every match victory, making consistency a crucial factor in the overall standings.

Every event in the series comes with tangible rewards. Podium finishers will receive medals, cash prizes, sponsor giveaways, and valuable qualification points toward the Grand Finale. At the end of the season, the top 16 players on the points league will be rewarded with free entry into the Grand Finale, adding an extra incentive for players to perform strongly across multiple tournaments rather than relying on a single standout result.
The series officially kicks off in February at Tomaz Pickleball Club, with Mixed Doubles action on 26 February (2:00–5:00 PM), followed by Men’s Doubles on 27 February (2:00–5:00 PM). Tournament 1 will feature a solid prize pool highlighted by RM250 for first place, medals for the top three finishers, and sponsor prizes, including support from Protech XP Pickleball, the official ball provider, along with a dedicated hydration partner.
With a clearly defined competitive pathway, meaningful rewards at every stage, and a calendar that stretches across the entire year, the OFEC Masters Series 2026 is shaping up to be a marquee fixture on Malaysia’s pickleball scene. For over-50 athletes looking to compete at a high level while being rewarded for consistency and commitment, this series represents a major step forward for senior competitive pickleball.
