“We have officially joined forces with ProXR Pickleball, uniting our legacy, our athletes, and our technology into one aggressive, innovation-led powerhouse,” Paddletek wrote in an Instagram post announcing the merger.
This recent announcement, according to Paddletek, is a strategic step forward in strengthening the company’s platform for innovation, product development, and long-term growth. It added that, with this unification, the Paddletek Group is now “better positioned to support athletes, serve players at every level, and deliver innovative, performance-driven products to the global pickleball community.”
Even with this latest move, Paddletek guaranteed that it will be business as usual, particularly for its retailers.
“What does not change is our commitment to our authorised retailers,” Paddletek said in a press release announcing the merger. “Paddletek Group will continue operating both the Paddletek and ProXR businesses, maintaining existing relationships, sales channels, and customer support structures. There will be no immediate changes to ordering processes, pricing, or distribution as a result of today’s announcement.”
Post-merger, the Paddletek Group will be looking to introduce a new performance paddle line in early 2026. The plan is for this new series to reflect the company’s continued investment in design, technology, and playability, while leveraging the strengths of both Paddletek and ProXR. Additional details about this new planned paddle line will be shared closer to launch.
