Despite losing pickleball star Anna Leigh Waters earlier this year, Paddletek has responded by signing three established professionals, reinforcing its continued relevance at the top level of the sport.

Paddletek may have started the year by losing its biggest name in pickleball, Anna Leigh Waters, but the global brand has moved quickly to strengthen its roster. The company has announced the signings of three well-known professionals: Zane Navratil, Connor Garnett, and Riley Newman.

Navratil is widely regarded as one of pickleball’s most recognisable figures, balancing a successful professional career with a strong presence in content creation. His influence extends beyond competition, making him one of the sport’s most visible personalities. Currently, Navratil is ranked No. 60 in Men’s Singles and No. 21 in both Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

Garnett ranks among the top players in the world, particularly in singles competition. He is currently No. 4 in Men’s Singles and has collected 22 career medals, including four gold medals. Garnett also holds a No. 20 ranking in Men’s Doubles and No. 16 in Mixed Doubles, and competed on the PPA Tour Asia last season.

Newman brings elite-level doubles experience to the lineup. He has earned 58 medals in Men’s Doubles, including 20 gold medals, as well as 38 medals in Mixed Doubles, with 10 gold medals. Newman is currently ranked No. 13 in Men’s Doubles and No. 14 in Mixed Doubles.

While replacing a generational talent like Waters is no small task, Paddletek’s latest signings send a clear message. By securing Navratil, Garnett, and Newman, the brand has demonstrated that it remains a serious and influential player in the pickleball space.
