Just days after launching Rising Stars, Pickleball Champions League Asia (PCL Asia) has tapped RPM P

Under this collaboration, RPM will supply standardised competition paddles for all Rising Stars athletes to ensure fairness and consistency across events, “so performance, preparation, and skill determine outcomes,” and not paddle quality.

“Rising Stars represents the future of pickleball in Asia. We believe the sport grows strongest when young players are given the right tools, the right platform, and a clear pathway forward. Partnering with PCL allows us to support that vision in a meaningful and lasting way,” said James Ignatowich, Founder of RPM Pickleball.

Aside from providing standardised paddles, RPM will also offer on-court coaching, mentorship, and competitive insight during the Finals, giving finalists direct access to equipment specialists and performance guidance. Ignatowich himself will offer his guidance and expert insights.

The PCL–RPM partnership comes ahead of the Rising Stars Finals, set to be held at the Asia Elite Pickleball Academy in Hainan, China. The Rising Stars Finals are the culmination of national, regional, and provincial qualifiers that make up the programme’s competitive structure. Alongside RPM leadership, top professional players will engage directly with youth finalists to provide a hands-on bridge between grassroots competition and the pro circuit.

Additionally, PCL Asia has announced that the long-term agreement will also integrate RPM branding across Rising Stars events, digital content, and athlete storytelling. All this is part of a broader push to raise professional standards and expand youth pathways across the region.
