Pickleball’s rapid rise is not only driven by competition but also by its emergence as a lifestyle sport. In Singapore, players are increasingly drawn to the social side of the game, connecting and bonding through shared experiences on and off the court. In line with this trend, Play! Pickle will debut Singapore’s first nightlife pickleball social event at Play! Pickle Serangoon in February 2026, combining structured play with a party atmosphere, complete with a live DJ, free-flowing drinks, and a colourful wristband system designed for easy interaction.
Located along Upper Serangoon Road, Play! Pickle Serangoon houses a newly opened pink playground featuring five fully air-conditioned courts. With its pastel pink tones, clean lines, café-style seating, and upbeat music, the venue positions itself as a vibrant community hangout rather than just a sports facility.
The first-ever Pickleball Night Live by Play! Pickle will take place on Friday, 27 February 2026. Guests can look forward to a live DJ, drinks, and colourful wristbands indicating their social preferences for the evening. Short interval games will also be held, with equipment provided for participants.
Interestingly, the colourful wristband systems have six colours indicating your intentions. For instance, green signals single and available, red signals taken, yellow indicates here for the vibes only, blue signals looking for friends, orange means you are a newbie to pickleball, and purple indicates down for fun.
Pickleball Night Live will be divided into two main zones: interactive courts for gameplay and a club-style lounge where the live DJ will spin the latest top tracks, offering guests the freedom to move between sport and socialising.
Looking ahead, Play! Pickle plans to roll out more nightlife pickleball events throughout 2026, each featuring a unique theme. Upcoming concepts include Singles Mingles, music nights, and more.
