That’s because registration for the MB Hanoi Cup 2026, the new season’s first offering, has just been announced: starting 30 January 2026, interested players can begin signing up for Asia’s first big tournament of 2026.
The MB Hanoi Cup is scheduled for 1 to 5 April 2026 and will take place at the My Dinh Indoor Athletics Arena. This tournament promises to be a marquee moment for Vietnam’s capital, and one fitting for the city, which was originally known as Thang Long. Incidentally, Thang Long means “the Dragon rising to the sky,” and its symbolism couldn’t be more perfect as players look to follow the dragon through Asia.
With the season ready to take flight, the stakes and numbers are set for the first stop. Registration will open on 30 January 2026. The MB Hanoi Open is a PPA Asia 1000 tournament, and will be bringing USD $300,000 to the courts for the Pros. The prize money breakdown is as follows:
