Vietnamese athlete Quang Duong has opted to stay local for his latest sponsorship, officially signing with Vietnam-based Wika Pickleball.
The announcement came over the weekend via Wika’s official social media channels.
“A new burst of momentum begins in 2026! Wika and Quang Duong officially open the next chapter in their professional pickleball journey—where pioneering milestones are set to be unveiled,” Wika Pickleball stated. “This marks Wika’s strong commitment to sustainable development and long-term partnership with Vietnamese pickleball, while affirming its confidence in a new generation of Vietnamese athletes ready to conquer the international stage with talent and breakthrough technologies.”
Quang Duong Stays True to His Roots
By signing with Wika, Quang Duong remains loyal to his Vietnamese roots. Last year, he had a sponsorship with Sypik, which led to the release of the Sypik Avatar Collection—a series of paddles developed with the artist Avatar.
Sypik, another Vietnam-based pickleball start-up, recently posted a message marking the end of their collaboration with the soon-to-be-20-year-old star, calling it “an honour” to have supported Asia’s top-ranked male player in DUPR.
Meanwhile, Wika Pickleball had been hinting at Quang Duong’s arrival for weeks before officially confirming the deal. The brand now plans to launch a signature collection in his name, dubbed “Wika QD,” celebrating what they describe as “the rise of a Vietnamese generation ready to push limits and lead the way.”
The new line promises to combine relentless movement on court with breakthrough technology debuting for the first time, signalling Wika’s commitment to innovation and support for the next generation of athletes.
Wika Pickleball is clearly placing big bets on Quang Duong’s influence, and fans will soon see how this partnership shapes the brand and the player’s career.
