Rachel Rohrabacher, Kyle Koszuta Sign with Friday Pickleball – Pickleball News Asia
Pickleball pros Rachel Rohrabacher and Kyle Koszuta have signed with Friday Pickleball as the great
Friday Pickleball is a US-based pickleball sporting goods brand best known for making premium-feeling paddles at accessible prices and building a fun, community-focused presence in the pickleball world. But with the signings of Rohrabacher and Koszuta, it appears the brand is diving in headfirst into the world of professional pickleball.
Rohrabacher, of course, is among the top pros on the women’s side today. She is currently ranked No. 5 on the PPA Tour in Women’s Doubles and No. 7 in Mixed Doubles. She has, as of this writing, 8 gold, 14 silver, and 4 bronze medals in Women’s Doubles, and 1 silver and 1 bronze medal in Mixed Doubles. Now, Rohrabacher has become Friday Pickleball’s first-ever sponsored pro after previously rocking with Selkirk Sport since 2023.
“We are so unbelievably excited to have Rachel on the Friday team!” Friday co-founder Jake Triplett told The Dink. “Getting to see her compete against the best in the world with a Friday paddle is going to be surreal.”
According to reports, Rohrabacher will be using Friday Pickleball’s new Friday Fever 102E at the PPA Masters this week. An elongated model, the 102E features dual edge foam, interior rubber perimeter weighting, an 8mm polypropylene core, and an extended 5.5-inch handle, and retails for only USD $102. She won’t be using this model for too long, though, as Friday Pickleball is said to be working on Rohrabacher’s first signature paddle, to be called Aura.
Koszuta’s signing certainly aligns with the brand’s identity as a fun-loving, community-focused name in pickleball. A professional player himself, Koszuta is also known in pickleball circles as “That Pickleball Guy,” who creates pickleball-focused content.
He primarily makes instructional and coaching videos and is known for his nearly unmatched dedication to teaching and breaking down the game for others via engaging and fun digital videos and shorts.
Like Rohrabacher, Koszuta was also affiliated with Selkirk Sport previously. But his contract officially ended on Sunday.
