KUALA LUMPUR: World No. 2 Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik suffered their worst outing in three months after crashing out in the first round of the Indonesia Masters on Tuesday.
Aaron-Wooi Yik went down 20-22, 21-19, 21-16 to Denmark's Daniel Lundgaard-Mads Vestergaard, marking their first opening-round exit since the Denmark Open in October last year.
It was also their first defeat to the Danish pair after winning all two of their previous meetings.
