"Since 2020, Topps has created new ways for our fans to engage in our sport through their trading cards and stickers, as well as creating mementos of some of Formula 1’s most iconic and historic moments," said Emily Prazer, chief commercial officer at Formula 1, in 2024.
"As we continue to attract new and diverse audiences to F1, having creative partners like Topps is hugely important to us, so I am delighted to continue our partnership."
Audi will enter the F1 grid in 2026 as a works team after taking over Sauber following the 2025 season. Team principal Jonathan Wheatley emphasized the importance of joining as a works outfit.
"Hugely," Wheatley said at the launch event when asked how significant it was for the team to join as a works outfit.
"McLaren, unfortunately, has proven us all wrong, but my opinion has always been that when you see a full works engine installation, when you see a car powertrain that has been designed to go together from the very beginning, it's a very different-looking car."
