A Facebook post about the Lý Hoàng Nam Sport Club notes that Ly “wanted to create a sports space that not only carries his name, but also reflects the values he pursues in training: meticulousness, professionalism, and a serious commitment to sport.” The Vietnamese star no doubt applied these values in building the new facility to fulfil his “desire to make a long-term contribution to the community and to create a place where everyone can play sports under the best possible conditions.”
“Lý Hoàng Nam Sport Club is a sports space inspired by Nam’s own experience as an athlete. It is an all-in-one integrated model. Players can compete in pickleball, train their fitness, recover their bodies, shop for equipment, and relax all in the same space. Nam wants all the needs of sports players to be fully met in one location,” the club said in a post on Facebook.
The same post further notes that, while the Hangzhou Open 2025 Men’s Singles champion is still relatively new to high-quality sports ecosystems, he endeavoured to build the Lý Hoàng Nam Sport Club because he “wants to bring a standard training space closer to players in the western part of the city, so people don’t have to go into the city centre but can still experience facilities and services equivalent to those of professional athletes.”
To fulfil this goal, the Lý Hoàng Nam Sport Club will rely on a qualified team to handle clubs and classes “to create a structured and serious training environment.” While Ly wants his facility to cater to serious pickleball players seeking to excel at the highest levels, it will still welcome all players, regardless of skill level.
Ultimately, Ly wants the Lý Hoàng Nam Sport Club to be the first place that event organisers, clubs, and sports brands think of when they need a professional venue. To this end, the facility is always ready to collaborate in building a healthy environment, hosting quality events, and running tournaments that bring shared value to the sports community.
