Zi Yu-Noraqilah capture Estonia IC title

KUALA LUMPUR: National juniors Low Zi Yu–Noraqilah Maisarah Ramdan won their first international women's doubles title — the Estonia International Challenge in Tallinn on Sunday.

The unranked Zi Yu-Noraqilah defeated American world No. 22 Audrey Chang–Jasmine Yeung 21-14, 21-19 in 35 minutes.

Zi Yu-Noraqilah began their partnership at the World Junior Championships in Guwahati in October last year.

In Tallinn, Noraqilah also played in the mixed doubles with Loo Bing Kun, but they lost in the first round to Germany's Simon Krax-Amelie Lehmann.

Zi Yu-Noraqilah will next compete at the Swedish Open in Uppsala from Jan 15-18.
