Pro Honda LCR rider Diogo Moreira delivered an impressive debut in his first MotoGP Sprint, finishing 13th at the Thailand Grand Prix. Starting from 15th on the grid, the Brazilian rookie quickly adapted to the intensity of the high-speed race.
“I’m satisfied. I enjoyed the Sprint and learned throughout all the laps. Overall, it was a positive experience,” Moreira said after the race.
The 21-year-old highlighted the challenging level of competition and the speed of his rivals. “Everyone is so fast, and it was difficult to grasp the pace. At the start, I was tense, but I gradually gained confidence,” he added.
Both Moreira and the LCR team expressed satisfaction with his performance, noting the Sprint as a valuable step in his ongoing development. The rookie’s composure and progress throughout the race indicate a promising future in MotoGP.
“We managed well overall, and we’ll see tomorrow,” Moreira concluded, looking ahead to the main Grand Prix race with optimism and motivation.
