The Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) kicked off the second half of its 2025-26 season with the 2026 Carvana PPA Masters, held at the iconic Mission Hills Country Club in Palm Springs, California. In a nod to Wimbledon tradition, players wore all-white uniforms, a style choice that has become a hallmark of the tour.
The event drew an impressive crowd, with nearly 1,800 amateur and professional participants filling Mission Hills for the tournament. As one of only a few “Slam”-level events on the PPA calendar, the Masters awarded double ranking points, attracting a particularly strong professional field. The Men’s Singles pro qualifier alone featured 71 entrants, highlighting the depth and competitiveness of the draw.
Television coverage of the event included the Men’s Doubles final, which was broadcast live in a two-hour block on CBS Nationals on Sunday afternoon. The remainder of the tournament action was available via PickleballTV, providing fans worldwide with access to all the excitement from the tournament.
The Carvana PPA Masters continues to demonstrate the growing popularity of pickleball, combining high-level professional competition with one of the sport’s most iconic tournament traditions.
