KTM has revealed its 2026 MotoGP liveries in an online launch, with familiar designs masking a season of growing importance for both the factory squad and Tech3, on track and behind the scenes.

KTM has officially unveiled the liveries for its factory and Tech3 MotoGP teams ahead of the 2026 season, presenting both designs for the first time during an online launch event.

Visually, little has changed from previous years. The factory and Tech3 RC16s retain the brand’s familiar look, reflecting KTM’s long-standing stability in sponsorship since entering MotoGP in 2017. The most notable update comes in the form of Motorex returning as the team’s official lubricants partner, replacing Mobil 1 after a two-year stint. Motorex previously partnered KTM before being replaced for the 2023 season.

While the liveries suggest continuity, the 2026 campaign represents a pivotal moment for both KTM teams. The factory squad faces increasing pressure to deliver a consistently competitive bike, with the goal of securing Pedro Acosta’s long-term future with the manufacturer. Meanwhile, Tech3 enters a new era under Guenther Steiner’s ownership, marking a significant shift in leadership for the satellite team.

On track, KTM is also aiming to end a prolonged victory drought in the premier class. The manufacturer has not won a MotoGP race since Miguel Oliveira’s victory at the 2022 Thai Grand Prix, while its last dry-weather win dates back to the 2021 Catalan Grand Prix.

The rider line-ups remain unchanged for 2026. Acosta and Brad Binder continue with the factory team, while Maverick Viñales and Enea Bastianini stay on at Tech3. However, there are notable changes within the crews. Binder will work with new crew chief Phil Marron this season, while Bastianini is joined by Andres Madrid, who moves across to accommodate Marron’s arrival in the factory garage.

Despite familiar colours on the bikes, KTM’s 2026 MotoGP season begins with renewed scrutiny, internal changes, and clear expectations to convert stability into results.
