Founder’s Vision Behind Pickld
Pickld was founded by Leong Sook Leng and two friends, with the goal of building an inclusive sporting community. The initiative reflects a broader mission to create safe, welcoming spaces where people of all backgrounds — including neurodivergent individuals — can participate comfortably and meaningfully.
“Rally for Autism” Brings People Together
The event, titled “Rally for Autism,” invites participants of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to regular players, to take part in a friendly pickleball session. Beyond sport, the gathering is designed to encourage conversations that help reduce stigma and improve public understanding of autism.
Supporting NASOM Through Community Action
Proceeds from the event will be channelled to the National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM), turning participation into direct support for autism-related initiatives.
